They should remove Survival and Builder, then just enable multihit for a few weapons like axe, pickaxe, baseball bat, katana and make it so you can shove 2 zombies.Play on survivor, or on sandbox with some options tweaked down (zombie sight perhaps) until you find them too easy, then when you go on apocalypse you'll likely be happy its as hard as it is. First, find the Transmission setting and change it to "4". This will disable the zombie virus from spreading. Next, find the Infection Mortality setting and change it to "7". If you are really unsure delete the world, through the game after editing the settings and saving those edits. Survivor is easier because it has more loot, less zombies and multi-hit, among other things. Customizable Zombies seems to only alter the chance for a zombie to spawn as a certain kind of zombie - rather than the total number of zombies on the map at one time. You need sandbox and advanced zombie settings; set population to 0.1 or lower. Then change group size to 0 so that the zombies don't get together to form groups.I recommend the Handy trait or the Repairman occupation. Carry 1 spear in your hands and one in your back, also carry a bunch of them in your backpack as spares. Branches weigh less than spears, so instead of carrying crafted spears, you can just carry a knife and a bunch of branches.
