I'm confused about glycolysis. Glucagon inhibits PFK-2 which reduces F2,6-BP production and therefore F2,6-BP can't activate PFK-1 to produce F1,6-BP. But glucagon also stimulates the secretion of insulin. Insulin stimulates PFK-1 and therefore production of F1,6-BP. These two things seem counterintuitive pertaining to the role of glucagon.
